The present petition has been preferred for grant of the following relief(s):- "(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing the respondents authorities to pay compensation with interest to the petitioner acquainted under provisions of N.H. Authority Act 1956 for the petitioner land as decided in case no. 11 of 2014 passed by the Additional

Patna High Court CWJC No.2089 of 2016(5) dt.29-07-2025 2/2 Collector-cum-Arbitrator, Buxar on 22.01.2015.

(ii) For issuance of any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions for which the writ petitioner shall be found entitled under the facts and circumstances of the case."

The counter affidavit of respondent nos. 1, 2 and 3 is on record and learned State counsel has taken this Court to paragraph no. 5 of the said counter affidavit to show that cheque of Rs. 10,83,411/- was issued in favour of the petitioner vide cheque no. 937417. There is no rebuttal to the said contention put forwarded by learned State counsel.

4. In that background, allowing the petitioner to agitate if still some grievance is there, the writ petition is disposed of.
