Irrespective of what has been pleaded or asserted in the counter affidavit in opposition to the relief prayed for by the petitioner, looking for promotion on the post of Typist from the rank of a Peon, the Court would still like to give an opportunity to the petitioner to bring his grievance before the Principal Secretary of the Department for consideration of his claim in accordance with law and the rules, governing such promotions.
