The petitioner is in custody in connection with Kotwali P.S.Case No.253 of 2016 registered for an offence under Sections 25(1-b)A, 26(1-b)A, 25(1-aa), 25(1-ac) and 26(1)(2) of the Arms Act.

The informant happens to be the police officer who on secret information conducted raid and apprehended five persons who were allegedly engaged in manufacturing of fire arm. The police claimed to have seized some incriminating articles from his possession.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has clean antecedent and has been implicated merely on suspicion. He further submits that three accused persons Md. Faiyaz, Rahul

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6817 of 2017 (3) dt.12-04-2017 2/2 Kumar and Md. Javed having similar allegation have been allowed bail by the learned trial Court on 09.03.2017. However, learned APP opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the nature of allegation, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of CJM, Munger in connection with Kotwali P.S.Case No.253 of 2016.
