2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80(2) & 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and under Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that Karishma Kumari (deceased) was married to one Brij Kishore Kumar Giri. It is further alleged that the deceased was subjected to cruelty on account of non-fulfillment of dowry demand of motorcycle by her in-laws. On 23.08.2025, the informant got information from the neighbors of the deceased that the deceased has been rushed to PMCH, Patna. When the informant went there, he found that deceased in a burnt condition and she died during course of her treatment.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that nature of allegation is general and omnibus. Learned counsel has further stated that the main thrust of allegation is against the husband of the deceased. Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and he is in judicial custody since 04.12.2025.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the bail and has submitted that there was allegation of subjecting the deceased to cruelty on demand of bike and that she has died in her matrimonial house.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Derni P.S. Case No. 218 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran.
