The petitioner seeks bail in Waris Nagar P.S. Case No. 139/2016, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged that the informant found the petitioner charging Rs. 10/- or 20/- from per person and also collecting their Adhaar Card and photographs for managing electric connection for them. He was also speaking that they will have to pay Rs. 500/- after getting electric connection. The informant apprehended that person and handed over to the police.
In this manner, from the written report itself, it appears that no amount has been charged by this petitioner from the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8761 of 2017 (3) dt.21-03-2017 2/2 informant. The petitioner is in custody since 23.05.2016 and he has no criminal antecedent.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Samastipur in connection with Waris Nagar P.S. Case No. 139/2016, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
