2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No.-916 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 8, 20(b)II(B), 22(b), 23(b) of the NDPS Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, it is a case of 9.260 kg. ganja was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and petitioner is a lady. Petitioner is in custody since 21.10.2023.

Learned APP appearing for the State, opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

From perusal of the first information report, seizure list as well as impugned order dated 23.12.2023, it appears that 9.260 kg. ganja was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and it is more than small quantity and less than commercial quantity, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

8. However, the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
