The present Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "......for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, direction to the respondent authority to consider the petitioner's application dated 15.02.2017, 30.03.2017 and 20.06.2025 with all supporting document for which the petitioner is entitled in the eye of law."

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the present writ petition may be disposed

Patna High Court CWJC No.2583 of 2026(4) dt.16-06-2026 2/3 of directing the Managing Director, Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Khadya Bhawan, R. Block, Patna i.e. Respondent No. 2 herein to dispose of the representations/applications dated 15.02.2017, 30.03.2017 and 20.06.2025 made by the petitioner (Annexures P/1, P/2 and P/3) by fixing a time frame.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent-State submits that the representations made by the petitioner may not be available before the Respondent No. 2 and in case, the petitioner, if he is so advised, can file a fresh representation before the Respondent No. 2 and the same shall be considered strictly in accordance with law.

5. Having regard to the above made submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make a suitable representation before the Respondent No. 2 herein within a period of 4 weeks from today. On such representation being given, the authority shall consider the said representation strictly in accordance with law and pass necessary orders as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the representation by the petitioner. In case, the claim of the petitioner is found to be true or genuine, the authority shall

However, in case, the authority come to the conclusion that the representation of the petitioner does not merit any consideration then he shall pass reasoned order for rejecting the claim of the petitioner. It is needless to mention that before passing any order the petitioner shall be put on notice and given an opportunity of hearing. Any decision taken shall be communicated to the party.

6. With the above directions, the present Writ Petition stands disposed of.
