The petitioners seek bail in Paharpur P.S. Case No. 17 of 2017 under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

The petitioners were apprehended by the patrolling party along with 125 pieces of pouch, each containing 200 ML of country made liquor. It appears that 125 pieces of pouch were recovered from the possession of the petitioner, for that they are in jail custody since 24.1.2017. The petitioners have already remained in custody for two and half months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14816 of 2017 (2) dt.18-04-2017 2/2 petitioners are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Paharpur P.S. Case No. 17 of 2017.
