The Petitioner seeks bail in Complaint Case No. C.C.740 of 2016, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of the Excise Act.

It is alleged that 16 litres of Royal Stag foreign liquor has been recovered from the joint house of the petitioner and Arun Kumar.

It has been mentioned in the prosecution report that petitioner was not present on the spot. The petitioner is said to be in custody since 09.01.2017.

It has been mentioned in para 3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
