2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Hilsa P.S. Case No. 724 of 2023 dated 07.11.2023, registered for the offences punishable u/ss 448, 354 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have outraged the modesty of the informant's mother and on being protested, he fired on the informant with intention to kill.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15884 of 2024(3) dt.01-05-2024 2/2 para 3 of the bail petition. As per impugned order, the X-ray report of the injured is still pending. There was previous dispute between the petitioner and the informant's mother. The petitioner is in custody since 11.11.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Hilsa (Nalanda) in connection with Hilsa P.S. Case No. 724 of 2023.

7. The application stands allowed.
