JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 30-03-2022 The present application has been filed seeking extension of time to surrender and furnish bail bonds in the learned court below in terms of the order dated 01.12.2021 passed in Cr.Misc.No.8131 of 2021.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, while granting pre-arrest bail to the petitioner, this Court observed that " in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount ......"

Learned counsel submits that due to some bonafide mistakes on the part of learned counsel for the petitioner the correct position with regard to the submission of bail bonds could not be communicated and the timeline within the order passed by this Court could not be adhered to. It is submitted that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14351 of 2022(2) dt.30-03-2022 2/2 the reasons shown are bonafide reasons and there is no deliberate delay on the part of the petitioner. Learned APP for the State does not dispute the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner. In the given circumstance, this Court modifies the operative part of the order to the extent that in case the petitioner surrenders and submits his bail bond within two weeks from the date of communication of this order, he shall be given the benefit of the order dated 01.12.2021 and the learned court below shall accept the bail bonds in terms of the order of this Court.
