The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khagaul P.S. Case No.13/17 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment)Act,2016.

The accusation is that 40 lts. illicit country made liquor kept beneath the seat of the tempo was recovered by the police.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. In fact, tempo driver succeeded in fleeing away. But the petitioner who was standing near the place of occurrence and was apprehended by the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14962 of 2017 (2) dt.12-04-2017 2/2 police showing mere on suspicion. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 3.2.2017. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.,V, Danapur, in connection with Khagaul P.S.Case No.13/17.
