This is an application for grant of regular bail filed on behalf of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody in connection with Kashim Bazar PS Case No. 264 of 2018 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 504,506 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is that there was a scuffle between informant and the petitioner along with others, and the petitioner has given blow on the head of the informant causing injury. Learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that on account of land dispute there was case and counter-case and the petitioner is in custody since 22.12.2018.

Considering the fact that there is case and counter-

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10186 of 2019(2) dt.21-02-2019 2/2 case between the parties and the petitioner has remained in custody since 22.12.2018, this application is allowed. Accordingly, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Munger in connection with Kashim Bazar PS Case No. 264 of 2018.
