JUSTICE ADITYA KUMAR TRIVEDI ORAL ORDER 26-04-2017 Heard learned counsel for the appellant as well as learned Special Public Prosecutor.

On account of absence of appellant, bail bond was cancelled on 11.02.2015 and vide order dated 11.07.2016, he was declared absconder. Police had apprehended him and on account thereof, is under custody since 06.02.2017.

For the present, prayer for bail is rejected. The learned lower court will endeavour to expedite the trial. If the trial is not concluded within a year, even having active cooperation of the appellant, then in that event, appellant will be at liberty to renew his prayer.
