1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Pali P.S. Case no.87 of 2023 registered under sections 304B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that his daughter was married to the son of the petitioner herein. It is stated that she was regularly tortured and assaulted for non-fulfillment of the demand of Rs.1 lakh. She was ultimately done to death.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case only for the reason of his being the father-in-law of the deceased. The allegations against the petitioner are general and omnibus in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14322 of 2024(3) dt.24-04-2024 2/2 nature. The main allegation is against the husband of the deceased who is in custody since 3.12.2023. The petitioner is also in custody since 3.12.2023 and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case. He has no criminal antecedent.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner being general and omnibus, the main allegation being against the husband of the deceased, the petitioner being in custody since 3.12.2023, charge-sheet having been submitted in the case and specially the husband of the deceased being in custody, the petitioner who is the father-in-law of the deceased is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Pali P.S. Case no.87 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jehanabad.
