Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Chhatauni P.S. Case No.200 of 2016, registered under Sections 413 and 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation is that police apprehended the petitioner with the stolen Scorpio vehicle and one person sitting along with him escaped away. It is alleged that they wanted to sell the stolen vehicle and it was Sonam Singh who has engaged him as a driver. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 08.08.2016 and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case and this petitioner was only driver of Sonam Singh.

Having considered the said facts and circumstances, petitioner, namely, Hamid Raja @ Hamid Raza is directed to be

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11471 of 2017 (2) dt.22-03-2017 2 / 2 released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Chhatauni P.S. Case No.200 of 2016.
