The Petitioner seeks bail in Maner P.S. Case No. 18 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.
It is alleged that 60 litres of mahua liquor has been recovered from the possession of this petitioner. The petitioner is said to be in custody since 12.01.2017.
It has been mentioned in para 3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Keeping in view the clean antecedent and the period spent in custody by the petitioner, prayer of the petitioner
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11537 of 2017 (2) dt.21-03-2017 2/2 for grant of bail is allowed. Let the Petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st, Danapur in connection with Maner P.S. Case No. 18 of 2017, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
