Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Dandkhora P.S. Case No. 122 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under sections 67/67A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the first information report. He has not committed any offence as alleged in the first information report and has been falsely implicated in this case due to local politics. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes

No.22056 of 2021(4) dt.10-03-2022 2/2 the prayer for bail and submits that there is specific allegation against the petitioner of sending the obscene photograph of the wife of the informant, which is resulting in tarnishing the image of the wife of the informant as well as the informant. Petitioner, therefore, does not deserve to be granted the privilege of anticipatory bail.

Considering the nature of allegations levelled, the materials available on record and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, this Court does not find it to be a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The same is, therefore, rejected.
