The petitioners in the present case are seeking extension of time to deposit the balance 50 per cent of the amount which they are required to deposit in terms of the order dated 18.12.2019 passed in Cri. Misc. No. 71133 of 2019. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have already complied with substantial part of the order by depositing 50 per cent of the total amount and they have also surrendered and furnished bail bonds but the rest 50 per cent could not be paid in time due to some financial constraints followed by the pandemic Covid-19 leading to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10108 of 2020(2) dt.22-06-2020 2/2 complete lockdown of the country. It is submitted that the petitioners may be allowed further 8 weeks' time to deposit the balance 50 per cent of the amount.

Learned APP for the State is present and he has not opposed the prayer for extension of time.

In the given facts and circumstances of the case, let the time fixed in the order dated 18.12.2019 passed in Cri. Misc. No. 71133 of 2019 be extended by further 8 weeks from today. In case the petitioners deposit the balance 50 per cent amount within 8 weeks from today, they would be taken to have complied with the order dated 18.12.2019 passed by this Court.
