JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-01-2019 This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for quashing the FIR of Giriyak (Katrisarai) P.S. Case No.198 of 2016 registered under Sections 406, 409 and 420 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegations made in the FIR, as contained in Annexure-1 to the writ petition, do attract ingredients of a cognizable offence.

In that view of the matter, neither the institution of the FIR nor its investigation can be held to be bad in law. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
