2. Earlier also when the matter was taken up on 18.03.2024 and 22.04.2024 there was none to represent the petitioner.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is confined to payment of G.P.F. amount of his mother, who superannuated from the post of Assistant Teacher on 30.06.2001 and subsequently died on 15.01.2021.

4. The counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondents no.4 suggests that the answering respondent vide

Patna High Court CWJC No.6708 of 2021 dt.15-07-2024 2/2 letter no. 1637 dated 09.12.2021 had asked the petitioner to furnish the death certificate of his parents, genealogical certificate issued by the competent authority, Aadhar, PAN and Bank details of his brother and sisters, so that the District Provident Fund Officer, Lakhisarai could be asked to issue the Authority Letter for payment of GPF amount with up to date interest to all legitimate heirs of the erstwhile employee in equal shares.

5. Considering the fact that necessary documents were asked for to redress the grievance, but there is none to assist the Court on behalf of the petitioner, this Court is left with no option but to dismiss the writ petition for want of prosecution. Accordingly, the same is dismissed for want of prosecution.
