2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Guthani P.S. Case No. 280 of 2024 registered for offences under Sections 80, 3(5) of the BNS and Section 3⁄4 of the DP Act.

3. The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased. The marriage was solemnized in the year 2022 and within a short period of marriage, the deceased was tortured for demand of dowry and has been killed. Petitioner is one of the main accused in this case.

4. Considering the nature and gravity of offence, this court is of the considered opinion that petitioner does not deserve the privilege of anticipatory bail in the present case.

5. The application for anticipatory bail is, accordingly, dismissed.

6. The petitioner must surrender in the court below within a period of four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised.
