2. The present application has been preferred: for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction, particularly in the nature of writ of Mandamus, commanding and directing the respondents and its

Patna High Court CWJC No.19218 of 2018(3) dt.17-11-2025 2/2 authorities to pay compensation of the land of the petitioner at the commercial rate with statutory rate which has been acquired by the authority for extension of N.H.2, as the land of the petitioner bearing Khata No. 191/66, Plot No. 682/255, acquired area 20 decimals.

3. Learned State Counsel, at the outset, submits that the petitioner should have moved before the District Land Acquisition Officer, Gaya (respondent no. 4) for the redressal of the grievance.

4. The submission put forward by learned State Counsel seems to be justified.

5. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be approaching the concerned authority in next four weeks.

6. If such petition is preferred in next four weeks, the authority shall take up the matter and dispose it of at an earliest.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with aforesaid observation.
