The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 383 of 2019, registered under Sections 341, 323, 354 and 448 of the Indian Penal Code and 37(b)(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. The accusation is that in the noon of 22.12.2019, Dhanpat Choudhary (petitioner), neighbour of the informant, Rakesh Choudhary, entered in his house in drunken state and started to abuse and cause assault to his wife and also tried to outrage her modesty. On protest by his wife, petitioner tried to press neck and also caused injury through slaps. On hulla, the neighbours rushed and his wife was taken to hospital. Submission is that the petitioner is in custody since 23.12.2019 while the petitioner is accused in two cases, as

Mr. Sheo Kumar Prasad, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, submits that in fact in both the cases, as detailed in paragraph 3 of the petition, the petitioner is on bail. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 383 of 2019 to the satisfaction of the Additional District & Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Nawadah. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) Shamshad/- U T
