JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 27-03-2023 Though the present writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 08.10.2014, passed by the Assistant Inspector General, Registration, Munger Division, Munger, in connection with Shortage Stamp Case No.318 of 2012, however, at the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the same by filing appropriate appeal under Section 47-A(4) of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899.

Liberty so sought is granted.

It is needless to state that in case appropriate appeal is filed, within a period of four weeks from today, after complying

Patna High Court CWJC No.2149 of 2015(2) dt.27-03-2023 2/2 with the requisite formalities, the same shall be heard on merits by the Appellate Authority, without being impeded by the issue of limitation, and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, in accordance with law, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
