2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rasalpur P.S. Case No. 49 of 2024 / S.T. No. 837 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 147, 376, 504/506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, it has been alleged by the informant that the petitioner had sexual relationship with the informant on the promise of marriage and thereafter he resiled from the same.

4. Both the parties are major and it appears to be a case of consensual sex. The petitioner is in jail since 21.07.2024.

5. Learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Bhagalpur/concerned Court below in connection with Rasalpur P.S. Case No. 49 of 2024 / S.T. No. 837 of 2024.
