The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Tarari P.S. Case No. 104 of 2019, registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in course of investigation, the name of the petitioner surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused Amarjeet Kumar @ Barak Paswan, thereafter, the robbed mobile is said to be recovered from the possession of petitioner. Further submission is that, in fact, petitioner has purchased the seized mobile from Amarjeet Kumar @ Barak Paswan and he had no knowledge that the purchased mobile was of stolen mobile. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 09.12.2019.

No.9411 of 2020(2) dt.24-02-2020 2/2 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ara in connection with Tarari P.S. Case No. 104 of 2019 (G.R. No. 2632 of 2019).
