The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No. 341 of 2019, registered under Sections 30(a), 41 and 45 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 190 bottles, each containing 180 ml Indian made foreign liquor from a bag kept by the petitioner on his motorcycle.

Submission is that the petitioner is in custody since 25.12.2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9905 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 Manjhagarh P.S. Case No. 341 of 2019 to the satisfaction of the Additional District & Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj, subject to the condition that out of two bailors, one must either be parent or close relative of the petitioner.
