There happens to be an allegation against the petitioner to have succeeded in his escape seeing the police personnel who had gone to his place on getting confidential information regarding storage of wine. On search, eighteen litres of Mahua wine has been seized.

As per para-3 of the petition, petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and is under custody since 24.12.2019. Accordingly, petitioner, Raja Ram Sahni is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise Act-Begusarai in Khodabandpur PS Case No. 198/2019.
