The petitioner by filing the present application seeking initiation of a contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for the alleged willful defiance of the order of the writ Court dated 21.10.2016 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 3564 of 2011 directing the Divisional Commissioner, Munger that the appeals filed on behalf of the petitioner, if not already disposed of, be disposed of within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

3. A show-cause affidavit has been filed on behalf of opposite parties. From perusal thereof, it appears that the Land

Patna High Court MJC No.3729 of 2018(4) dt.07-10-2023 2/2 Ceiling Revision No. 1 of 2002-03 had already been disposed of vide order dated 20.09.2002 and thus the order of this Court has already been complied with. It has also been averred that till date neither the petitioner nor anyone else has challenged the order passed in Land Ceiling Revision No. 1 of 2002-03 and, as such, the order has also attained its finality.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the year 2017, the petitioner had also received an information under Right to Information Act that Land Ceiling Appeal Nos. 3 of 1993-94, 5 of 1993-94, 6 of 1993-94 and 7 of 1993-94, arising out of C.W.J.C. No. 8441 of 2000, are pending consideration.

5. Be that as it may, since the Land Ceiling Revision No. 1 of 2002-03 has already been disposed of, any further proceeding is not required in the present contempt proceeding.

6. Accordingly, the contempt application stands disposed of, having the order of this Court already been complied with.
