In the present case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Uphara P.S. Case No. 30 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 376, 420, 448, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is to have committed rape upon the victim repeatedly. In 164 statement, the victim lady has stated and narrated the incident perpetrated upon her. Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9665 of 2020(3) dt.18-06-2020 2/2 Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected for the present.
