The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mirganj P.S. Case No.394 of 2016 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code besides Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 135 bottles, each containing 200 ml. Indian Made Foreign Liquor, from the tea shop of the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 30.12.2016.
