The petitioner seeks bail in Madhubani Town P.S. case No. 352 of 2016 under Section 30 (i), 36, 41 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner is the driver of the vehicle and he was carrying different brands of foreign liquor.

It appears that 133.5 liters of foreign liquor of different brands was recovered from the vehicle but for that the petitioner is in jail since 10.10.2016.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that petitioner has already remained in jail for more than five months, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14107 of 2017 (3) dt.09-05-2017 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhubani in Madhubani Town P.S. Case No. 352 of 2016.
