The writ petition has been filed with a prayer that arrears of salary for the period September 1991 to February 1992, difference of salary including benefits of increments from 07.08.1989 to 31.03.1997 be paid to the petitioner. Petitioner has also prayed for grant of benefits under the Assured Career Progression Scheme.

In the counter affidavit, statement has been made that an amount of Rs 4,26,357/-, that is the amount admissible, has been paid to the petitioner.

Patna High Court CWJC No.2280 of 2016(2) dt.31-01-2019 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said amount is subject to verification and that if there is any discrepancy in the amount calculated, the petitioner would approach the Authority in this regard.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner that if there is any discrepancy in the amount calculated, he may approach respondent No. 5.
