2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 665 of 2023, lodged on 17.10.2023 under Sections 366(A), 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the FIR has been lodged against five named accused persons including the present petitioner against whom there is an allegation that they have kidnapped the informant's daughter with a view to do the prostitution.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel also submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is clean and he is in custody since 08.11.2023. Counsel further submits that there was love affair going on between the petitioner and the informant's daughter. Counsel submits that

Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that case diary as well as statement under section 164 Cr.P.C. has been called for and upon perusal of the statement under section 164 Cr.P.C., it transpires that the petitioner is involved in the commission of crime.

6. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 665 of 2023, pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai is hereby rejected.

8. Liberty is hereby granted to the petitioner that if trial shall not be concluded within one year from the date of taking cognizance, then he may renew his prayer for bail.

9. Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial within the said period.
