2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with N.D.P.S. (CIS) Case No. 54 of 2024 arising out of Bettiah Muffasil P.S. FIR No. 185 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (For brevity, the NDPS Act).

3. The accused/petitioner is named in FIR and is in custody since 06.04.2024.

4. The allegation against petitioner is to have in possession of 5.90 Kg of Charas.

5. During course of argument, it transpires that the case is at argument stage before the learned trial court in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11240 of 2025(5) dt.23-07-2025 2/2 terms of report dated 23.06.2025 as made available to this Court through letter no. 227 as issued from the office of Exclusive Special Judge, NDPS, West Champaran, Bettiah.
