This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Special Case No.05 of 2017 arising out of P.R.No.37 of 2017 for the offences under Sections 20(b) of N.D.P.S. Act and Section 30(a) of Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act, 2016. Allegation against the petitioner is about recovery of 06 kg. 'Ganja' and also recovery of 1.260 ltrs. of foreign liquor. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody for about two months. Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having heard both sides and in view of recovery of 06 kg. of 'Ganja', I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17282 of 2017 (3) dt.20-04-2017 2/2 however, as the petitioner is in Jail, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner. With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
