2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No. 604 of 2022 registered under Sections 420, 406 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 29.06.2022 by the informant, Amola Devi.
3. As per the prosecution story, the informant, a lady, alleged that the accused persons took the hard earned money to the tune of Rs. 72,50,000/- but failed to execute the sale deed. Accordingly, the FIR.
4. Though, the learned counsel for the petitioner tried to impress upon this Court that the matter is civil in nature, a bare perusal of the FIR would show that with the intention to cheat, as the accused persons in complete knowledge that the

No.13591 of 2024(2) dt.12-03-2024 2/2 informant has sold some land in her village, approached and lured her to make payments for a piece of land through regular payments of Rs. 15 lakh, 10 lakhs, 20 lakhs and other payments totalling Rs. 72,50,000/- she was taken asked on the day (26.03.2022) to come to registry office, she kept waiting for them at Danapur Registry office but as they had intention to cheat from the beginning itself, chose not to present themselves there. In that background, this Court does not deem it fit and proper to extend anticipatory bail to a person when the informant's hard earned money amounting to Rs. 72,50,000/- has been siphoned off by way of cheating.
