This is an application for grant of regular bail filed on behalf of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody in connection with Jamui PS Case No. 331 of 2018 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 25(1-B)a and 25 of the Arms Act. Allegation against the petitioner is that he was apprehended with one country made pistol and one live cartridge. Learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that petitioner is in jail custody since 03.07.2018. Considering the fact that petitioner has remained in custody for nearly seven months, this application is allowed.
