The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No.184 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is said to have participated in the theft of a tractor. The stolen tractor was purchased by the petitioner and sold the same to one Dhurendra Kumar. 4.

The petitioner is in custody since 03.12.2023 and he has clean antecedent. Other co-accused persons have been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide orders dated 10.12.2021, 20.01.2022 and 25.02.2022 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous Nos.42212 of 2021, 43967 of 2021 and 63010 of 2021.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, West Champaran at Bettiah, in connection with Gopalpur P.S.
