This application for regular bail arises out of Raniganj P.S. Case No. 203 of 2019, disclosing offences punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

This is the third case in which the petitioner has been implicated with the allegation of commission of theft. The F.I.R. was registered against unknown. There is allegation of stealing cash from the dicky of motorcycle. The stolen cash was recovered from the petitioner's house.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that he has been implicated only because of his son's misdeed, who appears to be involved in the commission of the offence.

No.10399 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 Be that as it may, considering the fact that the petitioner has criminal antecedent inasmuch as he has been implicated in two other cases of similar nature, I am not inclined to grant him the privilege of regular bail. The petitioner shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after three months, if there is no progress in the trial. This application is rejected with the aforesaid observation.
