JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 15-12-2022 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- " (i) For issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/writs directing the Respondent No.2 i.e. The District Magistrate, Patna for issuance/grant of an Arms Licence as per the recommendation of Police Officer or to direct the concerned authority to dispose of the application of the petitioner, which is pending since 2018."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District

Patna High Court CWJC No.3310 of 2022(2) dt.15-12-2022 2/2 Magistrate, Pana for redressal of his aforesaid grievance. It is needless to state that in case, the petitioner approaches the District Magistrate, Patna, by filing appropriate representation within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be disposed off, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
