JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 23-02-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP appearing on behalf of the State.

Petitioner already in custody is an accused in a case registered for offence punishable under Sections 387 and 388/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is of making demand of Rs.2,00,000/- as extortion money from the informant by four accused persons. Submission is that both the sides are next door neighbours and a coordinate Bench of this Court has admitted the other accused to bail vide Cr. Misc. Nos.49507 of 2016, 215 of 2017 and 5704 of 2017 and the case of this petitioner stands on similar footing.

Having considered the said facts and circumstances,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9237 of 2017 (2) dt.23-02-2017 2 / 2 let the petitioner, namely, Vikki Mian be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siwan, in connection with Siwan Town P.S. Case No.492 of 2016.
