2. The present application has been preferred: to issue a writ in the nature of MANDAMUS / CERTIORARI or any other writ or direction commanding the respondents to pay the amount of compensation / Award of the land of petitioner's share, of C.S. plot no. 1402, C.S.

(144) Jamabandi no. 38 measuring area 7 kattha 8 Dhur land of village / Mauza - Khagra, P.S. & District - Purnia at present district- Kishanganj for which the land had been acquired under the provision of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 [Here in after referred as "The Act"] and possession has been taken on 22.9.1962 of the said land as per the alignment map of Acquisition under L.A. Case 53A/ 1961-62 for construction of road for development of Mahananda river connecting road to National Highways 31.
Further prayer to issue a writ in the nature of MANDAMUS / CERTIORARI or any other writ or direction commanding the respondents to pay the statutory interest as well as panel interest on the Award amount of the said land.
And further to issue any further direction/ directions to the respondents in view of the facts and circumstances of this case.
3. It has been informed by learned counsel for the petitioner that during the pendency of the petition, the petitioner has died and despite several attempts, no communication could be made. As such, they may be given liberty to approach if they so want.

5. Granting said liberty, the writ petition is disposed of.
