Petitioner seeks direction to the respondent authorities to take appropriate steps for granting loan to the petitioner under the Prime Minister Employment Generation Program. It is submitted that the respondent no.8 had recommended for grant of sanction of Rs.10,00,000/- of loan for establishment of sewing, stitching and embroidery centre. However, the report of the Bank which has been brought on record as Annexure-3 goes to show that the project is not viable as the petitioner does not have any experience of garment

However, he has recommended that it can be developed as stitching and production centre at a local level and for that Rs.5,00,000/- would be sufficient amount. Thereafter, it is contended that the matter was sent again to the respondent no.8 vide letter dated 26.12.2014 and the respondent no.8 has again recommended the Bank for sanction of loan of Rs.5,00,000/- but thereafter, no decision has been taken as yet. In such a situation, this Court would direct the respondent no.3, i.e., the Regional Manager, Regional Office, Banjari Road, Gopalganj to look into the matter and take a decision with respect to the grant of loan to the petitioner in accordance with law as it appears from the record that much delay has already occurred. It would be expected that the decision should be taken within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this application stands disposed of.
