10-02-2017 Sri Rajendra Kumar Giri, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 1/Hon'ble Chancellor, on instruction, submits that the appeal preferred by the petitioner against the order of Vice-Chancellor of the University under Section 9(4) of the Bihar State Universities Act, 1976 is likely to be finally disposed of within a period of six weeks.

In view of submission made by learned counsel for the Chancellor, which was made in presence of Sri Sunil Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Mrigendra Kumar, learned counsel for J.P.University, there is no reason to keep the matter pending.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
