1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Mahua P.S. Case no.483 of 2023 registered under sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that his sister, who was married to the petitioner herein, was tortured for demand of a vehicle and Rs.2 lacs in cash. She was ultimately done to death and her body was disposed of.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case only on account of being the husband of the deceased. The allegations are false and concocted. The petitioner and the deceased were having a congenial family life and two children were born out of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13438 of 2024(2) dt.12-03-2024 2/2 the said wedlock. The petitioner is in custody since 11.9.2023, has no criminal antecedent and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.
5. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegation against the petitioner, who happens to be the husband of the deceased, in the F.I.R. according to which the sister of the informant was killed for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry by way of a motorcycle and Rs.2 lacs in cash and her body was disposed of, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
