1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(a) To quash the Letter No. 157 dated 21.01.20 contained in Annexure-2 issued under the signature of Distt. Sub- Registrar, Siwan to the petitioner by which he has directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs. 28136/- (Twenty eight thousand on hundred thirty six Rs. only) as deficit stamp fee of Rs. 23,400/- with registration fee etc. and direct the District Sub-Registrar, Siwan to accept the deficit stamp fee of Rs. 23,400/- and to stay the further execution proceeding."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No. 2967 of 2023(2) dt.26-09-2023 2/2 seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 28.12.2012, passed by the learned Court of Inspector of Registration Offices, Saran at Chapra in Stamp Case No.33 of 2011, by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
