2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Jogbani P.S. Case No. 297 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections
3. The petitioner is under custody since 09.12.2023 for the allegation of recovery of some intoxicating tablets and painkillers from his possession.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is a person of clean antecedent. He has submitted further that the seized tablets are less than commercial quantity.

5. On the other hand, learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances clean antecedents as well as the period of incarceration, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judgecum-Special Judge, NDPS Act, Araria in connection with Jogbani P.S. Case No. 297 of 2023, subject to the following conditions:- (i) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
(ii) Before accepting the bail bond, the learned court below shall verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioner.
