JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 27-07-2023 The issue raised in the writ petition is regarding the petitioner's selection as Anganwadi Sevika/Sahayika. Her selection has been cancelled by order dated 16.01.2023 (Annexure 4) of the Child Development Programme Officer (for brevity 'CDPO').
2. The matter was earlier listed on 20.07.2023 when an adjournment was sought. Today again, when the matter is listed, there is none to represent the petitioner.
3. The Court would take into consideration that the 2019 guidelines for selection of Anganwadi Sevika/Sahayika issued by the Directorate of ICDS provides a remedy before the
Patna High Court CWJC No.2932 of 2023(3) dt.27-07-2023 2/2 District Programme Officer against the order of the CDPO, which is challenged in the instant writ proceedings.
4. Reserving the petitioner's liberty to avail the remedy under the 2019 guidelines, writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
